Discover The GEMS To One Of The Beautiful City In Germany, Stuttgart

Stuttgart is spread across a variety of hills (many of them vineyards), Schlossplatz Stuttgartvalleys and parks – unusual for a German city and often a source of surprise to visitors who primarily associate the city with its industrial reputation as the ‘cradle of the automobile’.

Stuttgart, capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany, lies in a basin enclosed by orchards and forest-covered hills. In the valley bottom, you’ll find the River Neckar and the older part of the city with its lovely historic buildings and homes climbing gently up the surrounding slopes.

In addition to being an important fruit-growing center, the city districts of Berg and Bad Cannstatt are where you’ll find the most productive mineral springs in Europe after those of Budapest.

Check Out The Beautiful Scenic Sepulchral Chapel on Württemberg Hill

Perched high upon the Württemberg overlooking Stuttgart and the Neckar valley is the burial chapel of Queen Katharina.

Grabkapelle, the beautiful structure consists of a domed rotunda in Neoclassical style inspired by the Pantheon in Rome (it’s also where Wilhelm himself is buried). It’s well worth the walk as you’ll be rewarded with the city’s most spectacular views.

The views from here are fantastic and it’s quite romantic with being built for a king’s wife who passed away at an early age.
